Business Phone Systems Sydney

Business phones. Sydney-installed.

NBN in. Old system out. Simple.

One provider. Phones, internet, IT.

Your numbers come with you.

Installed today. Supported forever.

Supply, install, support.
One team.

Most businesses don’t think about their phone system until it breaks or the copper gets cut. PIP prefers to get there before either happens.

What PIP Delivers

Everything in the box. Nothing left to figure out.

Cloud PBX — in PIP’s own datacentre

Your phone system runs on a PBX hosted in PIP’s Sydney datacentre — not a third-party cloud platform, not a telco’s shared infrastructure. PIP owns and operates the hardware your phone system sits on. Quality of service controlled end to end. Australian data. One accountable provider.

Yealink IP phones — supply and install

Desk phones, DECT cordless handsets, and conference units supplied, configured, and installed. Handsets arrive ready to use — extensions programmed, display names set, hunt groups configured.

NBN-ready from day one

Every system PIP installs is designed for NBN. PIP handles the migration — porting existing numbers, configuring the new system, and making sure nothing falls through the gap on cutover day. PIP supplies the NBN connection too if needed.

Sydney-based installation and support

PIP’s technicians come to you — new office fit-out, system replacement, or additional handsets. On-site across Greater Sydney and the Central Coast. When something needs hands-on attention, it’s the same team.

Part of your managed IT

PIP’s phone systems can be managed as part of a broader IT contract. Phones, network, servers and internet connection all under one support agreement — one number to call, one team that knows your setup.

One call gets it sorted

No manufacturer helpdesk, no carrier fault queue. The team that installed your system handles faults — directly.

Proactive monitoring

On a managed IT contract, PIP monitors your phone system alongside your network and servers — faults caught before your staff notice them.

Scale without friction

New handsets provisioned and shipped. New extensions configured remotely. No technician visit required for additions.

Supply, install, support. One team.

A phone system that arrives ready to use.

The NBN Transition

It’s not just the phones.
Here’s what businesses often miss.

If your business has received notice that PSTN copper lines are being decommissioned, a new phone system is only part of what needs attention. PIP’s assessment covers all of it.

Alarm systems

Many monitored alarms dial out over a copper PSTN line. That connection needs to be replaced before the cutover — not after.

EFTPOS terminals

Older terminal models that dial over PSTN rather than internet need to be assessed and replaced or reconfigured.

Fax machines

Easily converted to an email-to-fax service — but it needs to be done before the line goes. Most businesses are surprised how quick this is.

Lifts and emergency lines

Some older buildings have emergency communication lines running over copper. These need to be identified and migrated before the cutover date.

Coming in ahead of the cutover date is what prevents the scramble. PIP’s assessment process covers all of it — not just the phones.

Is It Right For You?

A PIP phone system is the right move if…

You’re a Sydney business replacing an ageing or end-of-life on-premises phone system

You’re fitting out a new office and need phones, PBX, and number provisioning from scratch

You’ve received a PSTN decommissioning notice and need a complete, assessed replacement

You’re a small business that wants a professional multi-line system without a full-time IT person to manage it

You’re multi-site and want consistent DID numbers and extension dialling across all locations

you want calls to create records automatically — transcripts in your inbox, summaries in HubSpot or Salesforce, AI phone systems, no manual entry.

Small business prices. No enterprise overhead.

PIP installs business phone systems for businesses from 2 handsets upward. Small business setups are priced and scoped appropriately — you’re not paying for infrastructure you don’t need. Most installations of 5–15 handsets are completed in a single day.

Can I keep my existing numbers?

Yes. PIP handles number porting from your current carrier. Most standard Australian business numbers port within 5–10 business days. PIP coordinates timing so your numbers are live on the new system before the old lines go.

How It Works

From assessment to live calls — one team, start to finish.

1

Assessment

PIP reviews handsets, call volumes, existing lines, and connected systems — alarm, EFTPOS, fax. No assumptions.

2

Design

Extension plan, hunt groups, number porting schedule, and hardware selection. Documented before anything is ordered.

3

Supply

Yealink handsets ordered, delivered, and pre-configured by PIP before arriving on-site — minimising install time.

4

Installation

Technicians install and test every extension. Number porting completed. Staff shown the system before the team leaves.

5

Ongoing Support

Faults, new extensions, number additions — same team that installed it. Included in managed IT or per-call basis.

We came in, assessed everything, replaced the whole setup with Yealink handsets on our hosted PBX, sorted the alarm monitoring fallback, and had everything live five days before the cut-off. The fax became an email-to-fax service. The client ended up with a better system than they’d ever had, all for less per month than their old PSTN lines were costing them.
