Email systems have become the backbone of modern communication within organizations. They facilitate instantaneous exchange of information, support collaboration, and have evolved to include numerous functionalities beyond simple messaging. PIP recommends and supports the Microsoft Exchange Platform. Currently Microsoft Exchange can be run across one of four platforms or a hybrid of these:

  • On-Premises Exchange
  • Private Hosted Exchange
  • Private Cloud Managed Microsoft Exchange
  • Public Cloud Microsoft 365 Exchange

What ever platform your choose, our Email services were designed with a two key rules in mind, simplicity and efficiency. Our system is secure, easy to use, reliable, and convenient. Your Email can be accessed from any  device from any point in the world. All our private Exchange systems include Email backup as standard, meaning that if you lose your smartphone or computer, you won’t lose your Email.

Our Email services are ideal for personal use, small or large businesses and unless you are going on-premises, you will not require any in-house computer equipment or expertise. Just a desktop PC, notebook, tablet and/or smart phones and we will ensure your Email is delivered to every device in your life 24×7.

All our private Exchange Email Services are hosted in Australian Datacentres providing the data security and privacy that should be expected and in many organisations and industry groups is now a requirement.

SMTP and  POP Email Services

PIP runs its own datacentre to provide comprehensive, bespoke support and solutions for all our clients IT service needs. We can therefore offer any type of Emails services required. SMTP (simple mail transport Protocol) is still he primary protocol used worldwide on the internet to transfer Email between email hosts. This protocol is also still the standard used for web site forms such as your Word Press site and your on-premise devices such as faxes and Scanners that deliver transposed documents to Email recipients via SMTP servers. PIP has a large farm of SMTP servers, either authenticating or IP trusted for you to utilise to ensure reliable communication of all your attached documents.

PIP still hosts POP or POP3 servers for that older software such as AQIS customs software and Genie Medical Software that require a POP server to transfer documents.
