Cloud Growth Slows
The quarterly results form the big three public cloud providers, Azure, AWS and Google have reported slower growth.
The era of exponential growth and huge digital footprints may be over for these mega datacenters…. At least for now.
Many cloud development projects have either been postponed or deprioritised due to global inflation pressures, labour shortages or current uncertainty.
This has all seen an increase in many application and services returning to on-premise systems. Either wholly or more widely as a hybrid with the aid of the companies IT department or MSP.
These cut backs are not hindering, hyperscale cloud solution providers like PIP, as they build relationships directly with the clients and tailor the right solution for the task, ensuring it can fit into budget. Whether that includes public cloud, our private cloud, a hybrid, or purely on premise.
